2011 Combine
|
Every year the top college football players from around the country are invited to attend and workout in the NFL Combine. This allows all players to be measured, timed and evaluated in a professional unbiased manner and the information gathered on each player can be used by the NFL teams to identify the top players for the draft. The Kansas Shrine Bowl High School Combine and Clinic has been developed along the same lines to provide players with a valuable tool for their own use and for evaluation by colleges wishing to recruit players.
Results of the professional unbiased testing are posted to the KSB Web Site and e-mailed to all college head football coaches in Kansas.
The clinic is brief but intense, and very educational and helpful in every football position.
Produced by Ron Freeman (PSU All-American, USFL Veteran) & Paul Coffman (KSB past player, KSB Hall of Fame, Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame) and their staff of professionals including: Ron Bowen (KSB Hall of Fame & KSHSAA Hall of Fame), Gary Spani (KSB Hall of Fame, KSU Hall of Fame, KC Chiefs Hall of Fame, NFL Pro Bowl), Jon Bingesser (KSB Hall of Fame), Roger Robben (KSB Hall of Fame,) Russ Riederer (KSB Hall of Fame, Ret. after 13 years as Chicago Bears Strength & Conditioning Coach), Ron Hill ( KSB Coach 1980-81-87), & Mike Bell (KSB Hall of Fame & 12 seasons in the NFL with KS Chiefs). The Shrine Bowl is proud to make this program and exceptionally talented staff available to Kansas high school football players.
